Organic ground golden flaxseed

Organic ground golden flaxseed

Antinutritional factors interfere with the bio-assimilation of nutritional components. By grinding flaxseed, you can make sure all the benefits of golden flaxseed are available in your formulations. We crush golden flaxseed in our allergen-free production unit.

Crushed golden flaxseed, which is more discreet than its brown cousin, is used in baked goods, both as a topping and as an inclusion for healthy bread, for example.

Crushed golden flaxseed also has the capacity to produce mucilaginous fibre when hydrated. This makes it possible to balance the texturizing agent content in our customers’ formulations.

Flax:
a high-quality product

Flax has been known for over 10,000 years. This oleaginous herbaceous plant is cultivated both for the fibres in its stem and for its seeds, with their high dietary fibre, protein and omega-3 fatty acid content in particular.

Flaxseed has health benefits as part of a special diet, particularly to help lower cholesterol.

FLANQUART
know-how

For more than 20 years, FLANQUART has been developing its French flaxseed supply chain by building a network of farmers.

This network led by FLANQUART is based on participative exchange between producers in order to optimise farming practices. This approach includes improving sowing practices and reducing field treatments. This direct, contract-based supply ensures producers in France receive a fair price for their product, and illustrates FLANQUART high standards in terms of farming practices and traceability.

Each year, a good part of FLANQUART’s flax supply is grown in France.
