Golden flaxseed already plays a key role in foods. High in omega-3 fatty acids, protein and fibre, golden flaxseed can be turned into flour and become an ingredient with real technical and functional properties.

Produced in our own production units, golden flaxseed flour is composed of 100% non-de-oiled flaxseed.

Golden flaxseed is a mucilaginous seed. It contains fibre and soluble polysaccharides that form a gel when hydrated. FLANQUART golden flaxseed flours enable this mucilage to be used in your formulations and therefore:

  • Increase the fibre and omega-3 fatty acid content of your recipes
  • Partially or completely replace the use of eggs in your recipes
  • Formulate vegan recipes
  • Stabilise frozen desserts
  • Eliminate gum and texturizing additives

Golden flaxseed flour is an ingredient with useful functional qualities for eliminating additives and improving the Nutri-Score. It can also be used as a support for gluten-free applications.
