Chickpea flour is produced in our allergen-free production unit. Chickpea flour is an alternative way to include pulse proteins in your formulations.
Chickpea flour is used in numerous recipes for Mediterranean specialities. “Socca niçoise” chickpea pancakes from Nice and Algerian pastries, such as “calentita”, are good examples.
Chickpea flour works very well in gluten-free formulations. In baked goods and pastries, chickpea flour brings delicate, sweet notes.
Chickpea flour is also ideal for vegan and vegetarian recipes for terrines, meat substitutes or savoury pancakes.
